Lizaan Viljoen
Lizaan responds to enquiries received by email, walk-in and phone. She is the first point of contact and provides course and camp information, as well as answering the many questions that precede a course booking. Lizaan also provides live course availability for agents.

Corne Schalkwyk
Corne currently manages relationships with agents, tour operators, DMC’s and the Industry for EcoTraining. He heads up a dedicated Sales Team to manage the sales strategy and oversees projects, the student support department, transfers, product development as well as onsite training.
Corne was previously based in East Africa in his role as the General Manager of Premier Safaris (East Africa) as well as the Head of Marketing and Sales for Marasa Africa as part of the Madhvani group of companies in East Africa before returning to EcoTraining in 2017.

Wesley Abrams
Wesley is responsible for guiding projects and product development from start to completion. He coordinates with other members of the Sales team and Industry relationships to ensure our deliverables are met on the ground.
He works closely with Corne Schalkwyk that heads up the Sales team to ensure agents in the different source markets are assisted, checking on their progress, and ensuring that each project is completed on time, within budget and to the highest standard.
Wesley also handles specific Sales aspects and or Agents in the various markets.

Jaclyn Marx
Jaclyn oversees all student-related matters, including the administration of the Placement Programme which forms part of the one-year Professional Field Guide course. She also assists students with logistical requirements, such as transfers to the camps.

Dries Kemp
Dries is an important part of both the Logistics and the Support departments at EcoTraining. Not only is he responsible for the safe and efficient transfers of our students, but he is also an integral part of the Student and Staff support teams.
Dries is an EcoTraining 1 year Professional Field Guide Alumni, so he really has come full circle. His experience both as a student, and now as a staff member, means he can provide invaluable assistance and advice.

Maritza processes booking administration, payments for courses, FGASA liaison and the issuing of certificates upon completion of courses

Alan is carrying overall responsibility for Finance and leads the management team for EcoTraining.

Arno Fourie
Arno is responsible for day to day operational finance.

Annemi Zaaiman
Annemi’s main marketing role is to manage our overall brand style and positioning – to ensure, along with the marketing coordinator, that EcoTraining is known globally. Annemi continually reviews and enhances the website, works with media locally and internationally to gain exposure about our mission and courses, develops marketing material, finds new markets, and manages advertising and other print exposure.

Heide Grobler
Heide works closely with the Marketing Manager to execute the overall marketing plan. She also ensures EcoTraining’s presence across all social media channels and brings our courses and experiences to life with her design skills.

Faith Shivamba
Faith handles all the administrative tasks for the marketing department. She also supports the marketing manager with various marketing planning and campaigns. Faith also communicates with students to obtain their images, articles, and writing of their course experiences for us to share on social media and the website.

Christoff Els
Christoff is responsible for filming the student and blog videos as well as for our professional photography of the courses.

The ‘feedback team’ is charged with representing the interests of our course participants by addressing feedback both positive and negative. Your feedback is important to us and we want to always ensure that you have the best experience possible on our courses. Perhaps you have suggestions for us, those are welcome as well.
