EcoTraining Sales Agent Position

Are you a dynamic and organized individual passionate about turning enquiries into bookings? EcoTraining is looking for a talented Sales Agent to join our team and play a crucial role in our customer engagement and booking processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enquiry Management: Skillfully handle website, email, phone, and walk-in enquiries, converting them into course bookings.
  • Switchboard Operations: Manage the switchboard efficiently.
  • Monitoring and Analysis: Regularly update Enquiry Stats, focusing on the booking conversion rate.
  • Customer Engagement: Respond to enquiries, strategically addressing questions to enhance the likelihood of converting them into course bookings.
  • Client Relations: Respond to availability requests, provide updated information, and deliver course/booking/camp documents and images. Maintain and protect relationships with existing agents, ensuring all requirements are met to the highest standard. Onboard Agents & Ambassadors, capturing details accurately.
  • Documentation and Organization: Capture enquiries to maintain accurate records. Update booking/registration forms regularly, including the MOU documents on file.
  • Booking Process: Create bookings and facilitate handovers to the relevant departments.
  • Collaboration: Liaise with the different departments in the company to provide weekly updates.
  • Logistics Coordination: Coordinate with the logistics department on student transfer options
  • Sales Follow-Up: Proactively follow up on missing sales leads, ensuring a seamless flow of information.
  • Feedback and Reporting: Acknowledge post-course feedback and provide valuable insights during quarterly camp visits.
  • Strategic Planning:
    • Contribute to rate and date planning by providing input based on trends and observations. Update and maintain the camp planner with all additions or changes.
    • Relay course changes to all relevant parties with accurate information.
  • Hosting: Host camp visits when necessary, facilitating an engaging and informative experience.
  • Project Coordination:
    • Communicate and follow up with clients on specific projects and goals.
    • Generate invoices for clients based on services rendered, collaborating with the Product and Sales Manager.
    • Gather, compile, and execute upcoming projects.
    • Prepare written estimates based on labour, materials, equipment, and other expenses for custom development.
  • Site Management:
    • Visit project sites to evaluate progress and respond to customer concerns or questions as needed.
    • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of custom requests.
  • Itinerary Development:
    • Develop and finalize project itineraries for custom product development.
    • Liaise with the logistics department, management, and instructors regarding course content, requirements, deliverables, and final custom product output.
  • Marketing and Sales Support:
    • Assist in marketing efforts and sales functions related to school/university relationships.
    • Attending meetings alongside Sales and Product managers, capturing minutes for reference to product and project development.

Required Skills:

  • Strong organizational abilities to effectively manage sales operations.
  • Strong understanding of sales principles, strategies, and best practices
  • Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Professional demeanour and excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Intrinsic motivation and a quick learning ability to stay updated with industry trends.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software, marketing analytics tools, and other relevant sales and marketing technologies.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to navigate changing market conditions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of logistics and booking processes is a plus.
  • Proven experience in client relations, customer service and project coordination.
  • Proficient in generating invoices and preparing estimates.
  • Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with marketing and sales functions is a plus.

Desired Work Experience and Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of successful sales leadership, with at least five (5) years of relevant experience, preferably in an international context.
  • Relevant Tertiary Qualifications will be beneficial.
