Although our normal cancellation policy stays in place, we do want to assist our clients as we value their support, and wish to be proactive during this trying time to assist clients.
We are offering that you be able to move your client’s booking forward to another course and or date later in the year should the travel ban impact your client’s ability to attend any of the upcoming courses (Please keep in mind the ban only impacts countries on the Government list currently, and you might not have to move them- South Africa, and more specifically our camps are still low-risk)
As of Wednesday 18 March 2020, South Africa’s borders will be closed to foreign nationals from the following countries: Italy, Iran, South Korea, Spain, Germany, the United States, the United Kingdom and China.
In addition, holders of passports from countries which are not on the “high risk” list, but who have visited a high-risk country within the previous 20 days, will not be granted a visa to get to our camps.
Although educational organisations have been closed in South Africa – up to the 14th of April 2020, this doesn’t extend to EcoTraining as we have remote camps, and don’t have large groups – We are seen as low risk, and isolated – areas such as Kruger where one of our camps is located is fast becoming a natural sanctuary for self-isolation.
We don’t want clients to lose deposits or payments towards our courses unnecessarily and will assist if it’s possible from our side to get suitable dates that work for your clients later in the year.
We are all in this together and know that now more than ever we have to support and assist each other to ride out this unforeseen wave.
Hope to see you soon, and stay safe!
